Alcohol-Fueled Fight Leads To Shooting In Albany Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police say an alcohol-fueled argument led to a shooting overnight in the Albany Park neighborhood.
Around 9:25 p.m., the men were shot and critically wounded in the 3700 block of West Montrose Avenue, police said.
The men were shot when a quarrel erupted between them and the suspect on the back porch of a building on the block, police said.
All three had been drinking in an apartment in the building, along with other people prior to the shooting.
One man, 28, was shot in the head and chest and taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, police said. Another man, 41, was shot in the arm and chest and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
The victims were reported in critical condition.
The shooter fled and was not in police custody early Wednesday.
