Sometime, you barely avoid he potholes near Lawndale and Leeland and other times you wish you had.
"They said within seven days someone is going to come and take care of it. This has not been addressed period," said Shelley Skolnick.
Neighbors say they have been calling about one on Lawndale for three months. The only change is that yesterday it was wide open. But today, after CBS 2 started asking questions, there is a sawhorse in place.
Neighbors believe the problem could be politics.
"West of the street belongs to Alderman Moreno, east of the street belongs to Alderman Mell," said Skolnick.
Some residents are ready to scream.
"We've tried 311, we've tried our alderman and we are basically at our wits end," said Debra Brannan
