Airport Worker Dies After Fall From O'Hare Roof

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A contractor working at O'Hare International Airport died Thursday, after falling from the roof of the International Terminal.
The contractor was working on top of the International Terminal around 9:45 a.m., and fell about 35 feet to the lower level, according to Aviation Department and Fire Department representatives.
Gary Beno, 59, of New Lenox, was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead, according to police and fire officials.
Police ruled Beno's death an accident.
No other injuries were reported, and it did not impact service at the airport.
