Aikman: 'Good Teams Find Ways To Win,' That's What Bears Did

The Detroit Lions have won two games all season and the Bears have quickly become a team that many people expect to make the playoffs. With the two teams going in opposite directions this season, many expected the Bears win by more than four points.

"Sometimes people look at those types of games and then they start to think that maybe the team is not quite as good," Troy Aikman said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "I just think that good teams find ways to win and Chicago has been able to do that."

Finding a way to win is exactly what the Bears did against the Lions. For whatever reason, the Bears struggled with the Lions early, but were able to figure everything out and come away with a victory.

"That win [on Sunday] was a nice win for them. That's not the same Lions team that I think a lot of people have come to know. Even though they haven't won very many games, they've only won two games this year, they've been showing a lot of improvement.

"They're getting much better on the defensive side of the ball and I thought [the Bears] were going to have their hands full going into that game, they did. I thought it was a good win for the Bears."

While it would have made Bears fans feel better if they had beaten the Lions by more points, a win is a win and the Bears did what they needed to do.

However, with the New England Patriots coming to town this week, there won't be any room for error.
