Aikman: Bears Should Feel Good Hosting Seahawks
There was only one team that the Bears knew, going into the weekend's games, that they couldn't face in the second round, that was the Packers. But if there was also one team they were hoping to play, that was probably the Seahawks.
The Seahawks are one of the worst teams to make the playoffs in NFL history. At 7-9, no one gave them much of a chance to beat the defending Super Bowl champions, the New Orleans Saints.
"That was a nice win for Seattle," NFL Hall of Famer, Troy Aikman said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "It's going to be the same way, the Bears are going to hear about it. They're going to be asked about it all week long. What chance do the Seattle Seahawks have of going into Chicago and winning? You know, they did it earlier, but I wouldn't think it's really good."

Because, on paper, the Seahawks look like an easy win for the Bears, there's potential for this to be a trap game for the Bears. The Saints were probably pretty optimistic about their chances to reach the second round.
But, the Bears will have more than a trip to the conference championship game on their minds. In the sixth week of the season, the Seahawks came into Soldier Field and beat the Bears. So revenge will definitely be on the a factor playing in favor of the Bears.
But nothing is certain, and the Seahawks are a perfect example that anything can happen in the playoffs.
"Someone said, 'that's why they play the game,' we'll see," Aikman said. "I have to believe that Chicago was pretty excited to see Seattle win that game and then the way that in unfolded in [the Eagles-Packers] game. Of all the teams that Chicago could have played, you say 'wow, we're hosting the Seattle Seahawks.' They have to feel pretty good about that I'd figure."
