Absentee Voting Available Despite Holiday
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Even though it's Presidents Day and most government offices are closed, voters can still cast an early ballot in Chicago's mayoral primary.
But as WBBM Newsradio 780's Bob Roberts explains, most early voting ended Thursday, and now, there is only one place you can cast that vote.

"They should take advantage of in-person absentee voting at 69 W. Washington, here at our office in the lower level," said Chicago Board of Elections chairman Langdon Neal.
Neal expects lines at the office despite the holiday.
The polling place at 69 W. Washington St., which is formally named the George W. Dunne Cook County Office Building, will be open until 5 p.m. Monday.
Absentee voting is not what it used to be. Doing so no longer requires an excuse.
More than 80,000 Chicagoans have cast early or absentee ballots.
