94-Year-Old Woman Slain Near Gary, Indiana
GARY, Ind. (STMW) - Police are investigating the homicide of a 94-year-old woman over the weekend just outside Gary, Ind.

The Lake County coroner's staff said it was called to the Methodist Hospitals Southlake at 3:45 p.m. Saturday. They found Ljubica Knezevic, 94, of Calumet Township, who had suffered multiple blunt-force trauma injuries.
The homicide took place at Knezevic's home just outside Gary city limits in the 4700 block of Buchanan Street. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2:20 p.m. Saturday.
