9 Injured In South Side Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - Nine people suffered minor injuries Wednesday evening during a four-vehicle crash in the South Side Washington Heights neighborhood.
At 5:17 p.m., nine people were injured in a collision at South Halsted and West 94th streets, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva said.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, according to a Morgan Park District lieutenant, citing preliminary information. It was not known if weather conditions played a role in the crash.
All nine suffered minor injuries, Roccasalva said.
Two people were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park, five were taken to Roseland Community Hospital and two were taken to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island.
