9 Hurt In CTA Bus Crash On West Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Nine people had to go to the hospital, after a CTA bus was involved in a crash on the city's West Side.
The wreck happened around 1 p.m. at North and Narragansett avenues, on the boundary between the Galewood neighborhood and Oak Park, fire officials said.
The crash involved a Chicago Transit Authority bus and a truck, a Grand Central District police lieutenant said.
Fifteen people were on the bus at the time.
Nine people were taken to area hospitals in good condition and six declined to be hospitalized, Knight said.
