8-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured In Fall From Window In Washington Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- An 8-year-old boy was critically injured Sunday night when he fell out of a third-floor apartment in the Washington Park neighborhood.
Police said the boy fell from the window of a third-floor apartment near 52nd and Prairie shortly before 11 p.m.
The boy was found unresponsive on the sidewalk, and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition.
Area One detectives were investigating. Authorities said the fall appeared to be an accident.
