8 Hurt In 3-Car Crash In Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Eight people were hurt in a three-car crash at a busy Englewood intersection Saturday morning.

The wreck happened shortly before 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of West 63rd and South State streets, according to Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.

One car struck two other vehicles at the intersection. Langford said three people were taken to John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in serious condition. A juvenile was taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital in fair condition.

Two other people were taken to unidentified hospitals, all in fair condition, according to Langford.

None of the injuries are life-threatening, Langford said.

Two other people were treated at the scene.
