$750K Bond For Ex-Woodridge Cop Charged With Looting Charity
WHEATON, Ill. (CBS) -- A former Woodridge police officer has been caught, after being charged with pocketing $30,000 intended for the families of officers killed in the line of duty and going on the run for several months.
As WBBM Newsradio's Mike Krauser reports, Scott Webb, 39, is now being held on $750,000 bond.

Webb disappeared in May, when a warrant was issued for his arrest.
It was during a traffic stop in Branson, Mo., last month that Webb was finally caught.
Webb was indicted in May for pocketing at least $30,000 collected during fundraisers in 2009 and 2010 for a group that aids the survivors of slain and deceased police officers.
The cash raised from pub crawls organized by Woodridge's police union was supposed to go to the Concerns of Police Survivors group, authorities said.
Webb, a 10-year police veteran, resigned from the Woodridge department in March, then was indicted two months later.
He was supposed to surrender to face the charges, but instead disappeared, authorities said.
On Thursday, DuPage County Assistant State's Attorney Helen Kapas urged a judge to set Webb's bond at $2 million because he "looted" the funds for slain officers' families.
Webb even still had bundles of cash with him when he was arrested, Kapas said.
DuPage County Judge Kathryn Creswell set the bond of $750,000 for Webb, who remained jailed late Thursday.
