$750,000 Bond For Man Who Allegedly Tried To Rape Old Town Triangle Jogger
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Chicago man is being held on $750,000 bond for allegedly attacking a woman Sunday morning as she jogged in the Old Town Triangle over the weekend.
As WBBM Newsradio's Lisa Fielding reports, Germaine Walker, 21, was charged with aggravated unlawful restraint and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

His bond was set Monday by Criminal Court Judge Donald Panarese, prosecutors told the Sun-Times Media Wire.
When the victim screamed, the man threatened to kill her if she wasn't quiet, but she continued struggling to get free and screaming to get someone's attention, police said.
The attacker was holding a knife, and as the two struggled, she suffered several cuts and other injuries, police said.
Eventually, two other joggers passed by the alley and the attacker fled the scene. But police officers patrolling nearby caught him minutes later, in the courtyard of an apartment building in the 1300 block of North Hudson Avenue, in the old Cabrini-Green neighborhood about 0.75 miles from the crime scene.
Walker's home address was listed as being on the same block.
The victim was treated and released from an area hospital.
Walker is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on July 30 in North Felony Court, at Area North police headquarters, 2452 W. Belmont Ave.
