Oprah's daily talk show has been recorded in Chicago for 25 years.
There had been hints that a new production might take the place of the show at Harpo Studios, 1059 W. Washington Blvd. But, for now, Crain's Chicago Business is reporting, there is nothing in the works.
About 400 people work here for Harpo. The company says it expects to keep them busy with production work related to the new Oprah Winfrey Network.
That launches next month, with a special called "Ask Oprah's All Stars."
But the Oprah Winfrey Network and its spinoffs will tape in New York and Los Angeles.
