7 Injured In Austin Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Seven people were injured, two critically, in a crash early Saturday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
The crash occurred at 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of North Cicero Avenue and West Ferdinand Street, Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
Two people were in critical condition and five others suffered serious injuries, according to Fire Media Affairs. The victims were taken to the following hospitals: John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Mount Sinai Hospital, Norwegian-American Hospital and West Suburban Hospital.
An EMS Plan 1, which brings at least five ambulances to the scene, was called for the crash.
