$6,000 Reward For Stable Burglary Info
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A $6,000 reward has been offered for information about a burglary at a Chicago Police Department stable that left two horses injured last week in the South Shore neighborhood.
The burglary occurred around midnight on Sept. 17 at a police facility in the 7000 block of South Shore Drive, police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss said.
One horse suffered a minor injury to the leg and another suffered a chemical burn to his nose from a fire extinguisher, Purkiss said.
No one was in custody as of Wednesday, when the police chaplain's ministry and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation contributed toward a $6,000 reward.
Anyone with information should contact police at (312) 747-8382.
