6 Shot Throughout City Overnight
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Six people have been wounded in shootings on the South and West sides since Thursday night.
A 54-year-old man was shot in the foot at 10:12 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Park Shore East on the South Side Thursday night, police said. He was treated for his injuries at the scene.
A 36-year-old man was shot in the big toe at 10:25 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Madison Street in the West Side Garfield Park neighborhood, police said. He was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
A man in his 20s was shot at 10:37 p.m. in the 1200 block of South St. Louis Avenue in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, police said. He was shot in the abdomen and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, police said.
Two men were shot early Friday in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood. The shooting occurred at 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of East 57th Street, police said. The two men, ages 19 and 40, were shot in the buttocks and taken in "stable" condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
A man drove himself to the hospital after being shot about 4 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of West 65th Street in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said. The 27-year-old man is at Holy Cross Hospital where he was listed in "stable" condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
No one was in custody for any of the shootings Friday morning.
