49ers, Ticketmaster Offer Super Bowl Tickets To Scammed Family
(CBS) When 49-year-old Sharon Osgood of Hayward, Calif. wired $5,900 to a person selling four Super Bowl tickets on Craigslist, she was shocked when she got a package containing the "tickets."
What Osgood found when she opened up the package was a note that said "Enjoy the game!!!! Go Ravens!!! LOL." with tickets nowhere to be found.
Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard heard Osgood's unfortunate situation and called her to offer four tickets to the game. Coincidentally, the 49ers did the same.
"My heart literally was in my throat; it was fluttering — I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe this is happening.' I can't put into words how grateful I am," Osgood said.
