4 Shot On Street In Auburn-Gresham
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are looking for three gunmen who shot four people in the South Side's Auburn-Gresham neighborhood overnight.
The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. at 79th Street and Ashland Avenue, police said.
The four victims were walking on the sidewalk when three males approached on foot and fired shots, police said.
Those hit included a 23-year-old man shot in the left thigh and foot, who was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in stable condition, police said. A man, 25, shot in the upper leg was taken to the same hospital in good condition.
A 27-year-old woman who suffered a graze wound to the foot and an 18-year-old man grazed in the back were both taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
Police do not know what sparked the gunfire. As of mid-morning Friday, no one was in custody.
