4 Inmates Injured In Cook County Jail Fight
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fight at the Cook County Jail has landed four inmates in the hospital.
The brawl broke out just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday in Division 9 at the jail, a maximum-security wing. Four people were transported to Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Mount Sinai Hospital, officials said.
They were all reported in serious condition, but officials say most suffered cuts and bruises and the injuries are not life threatening.
No corrections officers were hurt.
There was no word Friday morning on what started the fight.
