4 Injured In Kennedy Expressway Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - Four people were injured in a crash on the Kennedy Expressway Monday afternoon on the Northwest Side.
An EMS Plan I, which sends at least five ambulances to the scene, was called about 4:20 p.m. for the accident on the inbound side of the Kennedy at Nagle Avenue, Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor said.
Two people were taken to area hospitals in "stable" but serious condition, one to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and the other to Resurrection Medical Center. Two others were taken to Resurrection in good condition, MacGregor siad.
The expressway was reportedly closed at Nagle, but an Illinois State Police District Chicago trooper said state police had no details on the crash as of about 4:30 p.m.
