4 Hurt In NW Side Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - Four people were hospitalized following a Sunday evening crash in the Jefferson Park neighborhood.
The crash happened about 4:10 p.m. at North Austin and West Berwyn avenues, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado said.
The fire department initiated an EMS Plan 1 response, which automatically sends five ambulances to the scene, Rosado said. Four people were taken to Resurrection Hospital -- two in good condition and two in fair condition.
Five other people refused hospitalization, Rosado said.
Police could not immediately provide details on the crash.
