3 Shot Dead In West Woodlawn Apartment

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police had no suspects Wednesday morning in a late night shooting that left people dead in the West Woodlawn neighborhood.
All three men were shot inside an apartment at 6349 S. Evans Ave. around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Police were called to the scene at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The body of a 34-year-old man -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as Terry L. Brown -- was found in the kitchen hallway with a gunshot wound to the head, while the body of another man in his 30s, identified as Michael Nowels, was found on the back porch with multiple gunshot wounds, police told the Sun-Times Media Wire.
A third man, -- identified by the Medical Examiner's office as Julius Benfor, 29 -- was pronounced dead later at Stroger Hospital to Cook County, also with multiple gunshot wounds, the wire reported.
Further details about the shooting were not immediately learned.
