3 Million-Dollar Lottery Tickets Sold In Chicago Area
PLAINFIELD, Ill. (STMW/WBBM) - Twenty dollars went a long way for lottery players in Plainfield, Elgin and Chicago this Halloween. Their 20 bucks are now one million.
No one has claimed the Millionaire Raffle lottery prizes yet, said Madonna Duncan, spokeswoman for the Illinois Lottery.
"Since the drawing was (on Halloween), it's not unusual for us not to have the name of a winner yet," Duncan said. "We're hoping that the winners come forward pretty quickly."
Each Millionaire Raffle ticket cost $20. A fourth winning $1 million ticket was sold in downstate O'Fallon.
The million dollar winning Halloween Raffle ticket sold in Plainfield was sold at the Plainfield Meijer store, 13521 S. Route 59. The Elgin ticket was sold at the LCT Fortune store at 305 S. McLean Blvd. and the Chicago winner was sold at the 7-Eleven store at 833 W. Van Buren St.
