3 Killed On Chicago Roads Since Monday Afternoon
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three people have been killed on Chicago roads since Monday afternoon.
As WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports, on the Northwest Side, Emma Lovett, 67, was struck and killed by a vehicle as she crossed Higgins Avenue at Long Avenue Monday evening.

Lovett, of the 4800 block of West Belle Plaine Avenue, was pronounced dead at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge at 7:45 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
The driver who hit Lovett, identified as Jeffrey Dalak of Chicago, remained at the scene and was ticketed for failure to take due care of a pedestrian in a roadway, police said.
A couple of hours earlier on the West Side, a car crashed into the lamp post on Pulaski Road near Ohio Street.
The southbound left the roadway before striking a building and then the lamppost, around 6 p.m. Monday, police said.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Samille Quinn, was later pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
On the South Side, police continue to search for the hit-and-run semi-trailer truck driver who killed a woman riding a bicycle on 47th Street a few blocks west of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of West 47th Street. The bicyclist -- a woman between 35 and 45 years old -- was dead on the scene, police said.
She remains unidentified Monday evening, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
The semi truck driver did not stop and was not reported in custody as of Tuesday morning.
