3 Charged In Shooting Of 4-Year-Old Girl
(STMW) – A man and two teens have been charged with attempted murder in a Chicago Lawn shooting Monday that wounded a man and a four-year-old girl.
Four-year-old Khalise Weatherspoon and a 31-year-old man were shot just before 5 p.m. on July 29 near 71st and Rockwell streets in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, police said.
Laquan Waters, 18, of the 6900 block of South Artesian Ave., Tyrese Pearson, 17, of the 9300 block of South Greenwood Ave. and a 15-year-old boy have each been charged with two counts of attempted murder in the shooting, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's office.
