Two men were arrested around 5:30 p.m., after a report of fighting in the wave pool.

But the arrests were not enough to stop the fight. The people who had been fighting in the wave pool met up again in the parking lot, and started throwing things.

Among the items thrown was a hammer, which went through someone's windshield. Parked cars were hit as the combatants tried to flee.

During the parking lot fight, a third person – a woman – was arrested for interfering with officers as they attempted to calm the situation.

All three of the people who were arrested were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. One of the men also faces a criminal trespassing charge.

Their names have not been released.

No injuries of park patrons or officers were reported. Lake County police do not know what caused the initial fight in the wave pool.
