2nd Body Pulled From Ind. Manure Pile Is Identified
GARY, Ind. (STMW) -- The second man found Easter Sunday in a manure pile on a Gary horse farm has been identified, Lake County Chief Deputy Coroner P.J. Adams said on Monday.
Indiana State Police provided fingerprint records that identified Juan Antonio Perez, 33, of Chicago, as the second man left bound and wrapped under manure on a horse farm at 22nd Avenue and Mississippi Street about noon April 2.
"Both men were shot execution-style," Adams said.
Multiple police agencies from Gary, East Chicago, Lake County and the state police worked together to learn the victim's name.
The bodies were badly decomposed, and authorities had to use heavy equipment to dig them out.
