25-Year-Old Dead From Shooting At His NW Suburban Home
DES PLAINES, Ill. (STMW) - A 25-year-old Des Plaines man is dead from a shooting at his home in the northwest suburb.
Eliseo Mercad, suffered multiple gunshot wounds at his home in the 2000 block of Pine St. in Des Plaines, according to the Cook Coounty Medical Examiner's office.
He was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was pronounced dead at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, according to the medical examiner's office.
Des Plaines police were investigating but did not immediately have any details as of about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
