22 Hurt When CTA Bus Hits Pole In Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Nearly two dozen people suffered minor injuries Friday morning when a CTA bus crashed into a pole in the Englewood neighborhood.
A CTA spokesperson said a #9/Ashland bus was heading south on Ashland Avenue around 8:45 a.m., when it struck a pole at 72nd Street.
Twenty-two people suffered minor injuries, according to the CTA. Police said 13 of the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
