20-Year-Old Fatally Shot On NW Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - A 20-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest following an argument on the Northwest Side early Sunday.
The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. on the 4300 block of West Belmont Ave., according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
The victim, identified as Vidal Motino, 20, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, was shot in the chest following a verbal altercation at that location, according to police News Affairs.
Motino, of the 4800 block of W. Deming Pl., was taken to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:50 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
No one is in custody and Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
