2 Wounded, One Critically, In Little Village Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- One man was critically hurt and another seriously wounded when an argument turned violent in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood early Sunday.
The shooting happened about 4:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Sawyer Avenue, police said.
A 19-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were involved in an argument when someone opened fire, striking them both, police said.
The younger man was shot twice in the back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said. The older man was shot in the abdomen and taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
Area Central detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody Sunday morning.
