CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two women were critically injured early Tuesday when their car hit a snow plow in the West Chatham neighborhood.
The crash happened just after 1 a.m. at 79th Street and Wentworth Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs.
After the vehicle hit the plow, it spun and hit a light pole, injuring two women inside the car, police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said.
Fire Media Affairs said both were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, but police said their conditions had stabilized as of early Tuesday.
