2 Teens Seriously Hurt After Jumping Off Moving Freight Train
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two teenagers were hospitalized after they jumped off a moving freight train they were playing on Saturday night on the Northwest Side.
The teens--one 14 and the other 15--got scared and jumped off the train when it started moving, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near the intersection of Pulaski Road and Fullerton Avenue about 8:11 p.m., Fire Media Affairs said.
Both victims were taken in serious condition to Children's Memorial Hospital. Gaines said their conditions stabilized.
