2 Students, Security Guard, Administrator Hurt In Brawl At Englewood School
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two students, a security guard and an administrator were injured in a fight at an Englewood school Tuesday afternoon.
About 4:20 p.m. — after school had been dismissed — officers responded to a call of an altercation at Bond Elementary School, 7050 S. May St., police said.
Specifics were sparse, but during the fight, a 13-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl were hurt by another girl who had pulled out a knife. A school security guard trying to intervene was also hurt. Their injuries were all superficial, police said.
All three were taken to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where they were listed in good condition, police said.
A school administrator also suffered minor injuries.
No one was in custody in connection with the attack Tuesday night as Area South detectives investigated.
