2 Struck By Car After Fight In River North
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Two men were run over by a car in a River North street early Sunday after a fight spilled out of a nightclub.
The fight started about 4:50 a.m. in a club in the 100 block of West Ontario Street, police News Affairs Officer Daniel Sullivan said.
After the fight spilled out onto the street, a person involved in the fracas ran over the two men with a Honda Accord, critically wounding at least one of the pedestrians, Sullivan said.
Both men, ages 23 and 28, were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
As of about noon Sunday police had not yet located the red Honda Accord, nor was the driver in custody, Sullivan said. Area Central detectives are investigating.
