2 Stabbed At North Lawndale Barbershop
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two people were stabbed in the North Lawndale neighborhood Thursday morning, reportedly at a barbershop.
At 10:39 a.m., the victims were stabbed in the 1100 block of South Pulaski Road, according to police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.
Paramedics took one victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, he said. There was no word about the condition of the other victim.
Mobil gas station worker Ali Mohamed, whose station is located at Pulaski and Roosevelt roads, said the incident did not happen at his station but someone may have called authorities from there after an incident at a barbershop across the street.
Mohamed said he learned of the incident when someone walked in and asked him what happened in the barbershop.
