2 Rescued From Sinking Boat Near Navy Pier
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were rescued from a boat that was sinking in Lake Michigan about a half mile from Navy Pier Sunday night.
Police received a call about that the 28-foot boat sinking at 7:30 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
The Police Department's Marine Unit was dispatched to the boat, and the two men were rescued, O'Brien said, adding that the men refused medical treatment.
The boat was taken to DuSable Harbor, O'Brien said.
