2 Men Stabbed On Near North Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were stabbed early Saturday on the Near North Side.
The first stabbing happened about 3:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Clark Street, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said, citing preliminary information.
A man, thought to be in his 20s, was stabbed in the abdomen and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Greer said. His condition was not immediately available.
About 4 a.m., another man, also thought to be in his 20s, was stabbed in the 600 block of North Clark Street, Greer said.
The man suffered a stab wound to the torso and was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Greer said.
It was not immediately clear whether the two stabbings were related.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
Earlier in the moring, A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg after leaving a party at 104th and Rhodes, police said. The shooting, which happened about 12:45 a.m., may have been a drive-by attack because a dark-colored SUV was seen fleeing the area after the shooting, police said..
A family member took the man to Roseland Community Hospital. He suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was listed in good condition, police said.
