2 Men Shot, Wounded In Grand Crossing
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two men were shot and wounded early Wednesday in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Around 3:50 a.m., the men, ages 28 and 30, were walking on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of East 70th Street, just east of Oak Woods cemetery and close to the Illinois Central-Metra Electric District tracks, police said. A man came up and started shooting.
The 28-year-old victim was shot in the leg, while the 30-year-old was shot in the hip.
The victims were both taken to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center, but police did not know their conditions early Wednesday.
No one was in custody as of the latest report.
