2 Men Dead After Shooting, Crash On Busy Sheridan Road
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are looking for the person who shot and killed two men in traffic overnight in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, police say the two men were in traffic around 12:45 a.m. Monday when someone opened fire into their sport-utility vehicle in the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road, just north of Howard Street.

Police say the driver, Dion Miller, 26, of the 6200 block of North Francisco Avenue, was shot in the leg. His passenger, Jonathan Bell, 27, of the 7400 block of North Ashland Avenue, was shot in the side.
The SUV went on to hit a tree after its occupants were shot. Bell was pronounced dead at 1:10 a.m., while Miller was pronounced dead just after 2 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office told the Sun-Times Media Wire.
An autopsy should be performed on both victims later Monday. It is not clear whether the victims died from their gunshot wounds or from the subsequent crash.
The stretch of Sheridan Road where the shooting happened is a couple blocks south of the boundary between Chicago and Evanston. It is busy with heavy traffic 24 hours a day.
No one was in custody in the shooting as of later Monday morning.
