2 Injured, 1 Extricated, In SW Suburban Crash

PLAINFIELD, Ill. (STMW) - Two people were hospitalized in a crash which required extrication Tuesday evening in southwest suburban Plainfield.

The crash happened just north of Route 59 near Pasquinelli Drive about 5 p.m., according to Plainfield Fire Department Lt. Vince Baudek.

Two people were injured in the crash. One had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, he said.

Another person was taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville.

Baudek could not provide conditions for the injured.

Plainfield police could not be reached for comment on the crash Tuesday night.
