2 Firefighters Injured In Washington Heights Fire
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Two Chicago firefighters were injured while battling a fire in the South Side's Washington Heights community.
A fire broke out a garage behind a house in the 10600 block of South Peoria Street early Monday morning. The garage eventually collapsed.
Both firefighters' conditions were stabilized and they were later released from the hospital.
The firefighters were part of a team that finally got the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
