2 Artists Paint Mural At Logan Square Bus Terminal
CHICAGO (WBBM) - Two artists have been spending this weekend painting a mural called "Home" on more than 1,100 square feet of wall space at the Logan Square bus terminal.
You can tell they are friends. But you can also tell these two artists are very different from each other -- in temperament. Think maybe Van Gogh meets Grandma Moses.

One of the artists on "Home" is 29-year-old Nick Adam.
"The solid dark blue is the color of safety. The color of honor. The color of comfort. And those are all thing to relate back to the concept of home," said Adam.
"This should've been blue day before yesterday," says 38-year-old Thor. "I don't want to complain about it forever but I've done my part."
When asked what he hopes people will take away from the mural when they see it, Thor said, "I just want to get it done. I know we're trying to do something positive, but ugh."
Thor says "home" to him means "chopping wood and my wife's cooking."
With graffiti elsewhere in the neighborhood, artist Nick Adam says he's not worried about "Home" being defaced.
"I'd be disappointed in that I didn't reach them and was able to have the message resonate with them because truly I want them to have a better day," said Adam. "If they were to write graffiti on top of this, it's still a wall. Walls are walls, you know?"
