19-Year-Old Dies After Crashing Into Tree
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (STMW) - A 19-year-old woman died early Saturday after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a tree in southwest suburb of Bolingbrook.
The single-vehicle crash took place in the 200 block of North Ashbury Avenue, according to the DuPage County Corner's office. Paramedics took the driver, Lizbet Barajas, to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where she was pronounced dead at 12:55 a.m. The corner's office said Barajas lived in Bolingbrook.
An autopsy performed Saturday determined Barajas died of multiple injuries sustained from the crash, the corner's office said.
Officials at the Bolingbrook Police Department did not return calls for comment.
