17-Year-Old Girl Missing From West Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are looking for a 17-year-old girl last seen Dec. 16 in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.
Lajoy Heavens was last seen in the 1300 block of South Fairfield Avenue, according to an alert from Harrison Area Special Victims Unit detectives.
Heavens recently moved from Sauk Village but police do not know if she returned there. She attends Chalmer High School at Roosevelt Road and California Avenue, the alert said.
Heavens was last seen wearing a black Rocawear coat, blue jeans and beige boots.
She is 5-foot-9, 190 pounds with brown eyes and black hair with red highlights. She is black and has a medium complexion, the alert said.
