16 Arrested In McHenry County Warrant Roundup
MCHENRY COUNTY, Ill. (STMW) -- A one-day arrest warrant roundup targeting narcotics violations resulted in 16 arrests in McHenry County last week, police said.
Ongoing narcotic investigations provided the McHenry County Sheriff's office with 21 felony drug arrests, and 16 drug offenders were taken into custody Thursday, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
Of the 16 individuals arrested, 10 were charged on the scene with additional narcotic-related felony and misdemeanor charges, police said.
Also, $1,770 was seized from two arrestees, police said.
Individuals charged with unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance include Phillip Abernathy, 34, of the 200 block of Wild Meadow Lane in Woodstock; Joshua Wilson, 29, of the 11000 block of Route 120 Highway in Woodstock; Maredion Krotky, 32, of the 3300 block of North Pearl Street in McHenry; Anthony Mazur, 25, of the 5000 block of Wildwood Drive in McHenry; Thomas Wilcox, 23, of the 300 block of Candlewood Trail in Cary; Luis Ruiz, 28, of the 700 block of Elm Street in Algonquin; Gayle Joyner, 31, of the 400 block of West Jackson Street in Woodstock; Cathy Jenkins, 56, of the 300 block of Candlewood Trail in Cary; Orlando Riley, 55, of the 300 block of Hoy Street in Woodstock; Miguel Pintor, 30, of the 500 block of North Seminary Avenue in Woodstock; and Joellen Bukowski, 49, of the 2100 block of Willow Brooke Drive in Woodstock.
Norman Brown, 26, of the 6600 block of North Damen Avenue, was charged with unlawful delivery and unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful criminal drug conspiracy.
Aaron Wahl, 25, of the 4800 block of East Wonder Lake Road in Wonder Lake, was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, as well as unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Dominic Glover, 27, of the 4700 block of West Shore Drive in McHenry, was chared with unlawful deliver of a look-a-like substance.
Taylor Arvidson, 21, of the 1200 block of Birch Street in Lake in the Hills, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Additionally, an unidentified 17-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
