$157K-A-Year City Job Goes to Former Employee With DUI
CHICAGO (WBBM) - A vacant fleet management position within the City of Chicago has been filled by a former city employee who has been charged with a DUI.

Pat Harney was arrested and charged with a DUI in a CTA vehicle more than a decade ago. He was forced out of the position as Vice President of Construction and Maintenance after rear ending another vehicle, causing roughly $5,000 in damage.
Mayor Daley, according to the Sun-Times, has appointed Harney to head up the Fleet Management position. In a written statement, the Mayor was quoted as saying, Harney "has a breath of experience in management of facilities, infrastructure and maintenance, which makes him a good fit for the position.
Harney will be paid $157,000 annually.
