CHICAGO (WBBM) - A 12-year-old girl was shot last evening while in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.
The Chicago Fire Department says the girl was transported from 24th and California in critical condition. She'd been shot in the side. Witnesses say while the man fired, three other men acted as lookouts. The shooter then jumped a fence and ran into an abandoned house. One neighbor says the area sits on a gang border, and that the shootings have been going on for 30 years and no one can stop them.
