$118M Mega Millions Ticket Sold In South Suburb
CHICAGO (STMW) - A Mega Millions game player who bought their ticket for Friday night's drawing at a south suburban gas station is $118 million richer this morning.
The winning ticket, the only one in the multi-state lottery's Friday drawing that matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball number, was sold at the Glenwood Minuteman Citgo, 18659 S. Halsted St., according to the Illinois Lottery.
The winning numbers in Friday night's drawing were: 04 - 11 - 21 - 42 and 53 and the Mega Ball number was 38.
In addition to that big winner, two Illinois players matched the first five numbers without the Mega Ball, for a $250,000 prize. One of those tickets was sold at a store in Rockford and the other at a Circle K at 13059 S. Lagrange Rd. in Palos Park.
The Mega Millions jackpot is back to $12 million for the next drawing, on Tuesday.
